Hey everyone and welcome to our blog! Alexa and I will be updating this site from time to time with stories, pictures and musings from our time in China. You can bookmark this page and visit it whenever you like to keep up to date with our whereabouts.
To bring everyone up to speed so far, Alexa has secured a job at a company called English First and will work in downtown Shanghai recruiting foreign teachers to teach in China. I am in the final stages of securing a job and should have the details figured out within a week or so. Alexa will leave Michigan on the 19th of July and fly back to California. I will meet her there on the 24th to spend time with her family. We are scheduled to leave for China on the 31st of July, arriving the next day.
We plan on finding an apartment when we arrive and hope to have enough extra space for you all to come and visit!
And by the way, "Wo shi waiguoren" means "I am a foreigner" in Chinese.
